Mission Statement
The Danbury Republican PAC works to strengthen Republican leadership in our region by raising resources, supporting strong candidates, and engaging our community all year long. We operate independently from any Town Committee.
Our purpose is filling the gaps local committees are legally restricted from filling.
The Danbury Republican PAC will focus on three core goals:
1. Build the resources Republicans need to compete.
We raise funds throughout the year to help Republican candidates share their message, reach voters, and run effective campaigns.
2. Support qualified strong candidates
We help identify and encourage qualified Republicans to run for office, and we provide strategic and financial support to help them succeed.
3. Strengthen our regional Republican network
We bring together donors, volunteers, and community members who want to see responsible, transparent, and effective Republican leadership across Greater Danbury.
Our mission is simple: give Republican candidates the resources and support they need to win – and help keep Greater Danbury strong, competitive, and thriving.

What is the difference between a Town Committee and a PAC? Each RTC is a local party unit and is restricted to acting in its own jurisdiction and has to adhere to the policies and guidelines set forth from CT GOP State Central. A Republican Town Committee is primarily responsible for recruiting and supporting candidates who will appear on the ballot in their own city or town. A PAC can work across the local/town/city level to advocate and support candidates regardless of local ballot access.
Each RTC has a limited number of members open to party-registered residents of a town. A PAC has the freedom to work with many individuals across party lines, thus being able to create a broader coalition for candidates and get them elected.
